All the covert ops ships are too weak for missions, ratting or PvP. They all need help. The Stealth Bombers were promising, but you did not keep the promises!
I spent seven weeks training Covert Ops and another six weeks training Cloaking, and I spent 55 million ISK on a Nemesis, and expected a Stealth Bomber. Being a Gallentene I also needed to train for Cruise Missles to gain that advantage. Another month of training, but I am now proficient with Cruise missles (although they recently were nerfed, too!)
Now, the Nemesis a cool looking ship, but it does NOT deliver. Even with Advanced Weapons Upgrades I can not get two cruise launchers and anything else fitted. There is not enough powergrid, the cap takes forever to recharge but if you fit any mods worth half a crap you run out of CPU for the cloak, and will I ever be able to use the advanced cloak II?
I can not believe what a hunk of crap this is, so I trained sufficient skills to pilot a Manticore, at least with the Caldari stealth bomber I can get a second cruise launcher. So, I go into combat situations with either ship and they last maybe 30 seconds against players and even less against a three serp spawn. Total crap in combat. You are dead before the third round of cruise missles launch.
What role are these ships supposed to provide? Other then sitting at a gate and watching who comes in and out, they are worthless. Useless. Hunks of CRUD! Can I have my 8+ weeks of training time and several hundred millions of ISK back?
Failing that, could one of you guys actually try to fly one so you can see for yourself what a pile of scrap iron these things are?
Now you can go mess with the stuff that's not broke and nerf all the good ships, but please, FIX THE CLOAKED SHIPS!
Can they run EW or passive ship scans cloaked? That would be a good use as a spy.
Or give them armor and hull strength so they can do combat?
How about giving them double speed so they might serve as a scout vehicle?
Otherwise, my advice to anyone who has not wasted two (or more) months and a small fortune on cloaking will be: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Cloaking is a waste of time and money unless they fix the ships. The Stealth Bombers in particular need more of everything!
